What is Dental Bookings?
Dental Bookings is a free service that allows patients to find and book or request dental appointments online. Simply select the type of practitioner or time, location, type of specialist or service and we will provide you with available appointments for you to choose from.
Is Dental Bookings free to use?
Yes, it is totally free to use.
How much will my appointment cost?
To determine the cost of your appointment, you should ask for an estimate when the practice calls you to confirm your appointment. Otherwise you can call them when you receive their details.
How do I book an appointment?
You simply need to type a location/name and select a preferred date for the appointment. You may also wish to select the type of dental practitioner you wish to see and/or the service you require. You can also refine your search on the left hand side of the screen.
If a Dental Practice has available times you can simply select a time that suits you and you will then be prompted to enter your email address and daytime contact number to confirm the booking.
If a Dental Practice does not have available times you can still request a booking by completing the requested details.
The Dental Practice you requested will then be in contact with you as soon as possible to confirm the next available appointment time.
How do I know if my booking was successful?
An email will be sent to you and your new Dental Practitioner confirming the details of your booking. The practice may then call you to confirm your appointment time and discuss any problem you may have.
How do I cancel an appointment?
Dental Bookings cannot cancel an appointment for you. Every practice has its own policy for cancellations. Please contact your practitioner by phone no less than 24 hours before the appointment.
What happens if I cancel my bookings less than 24 hours before the appointment?
If the cancellation occurs within the 24 hour period before the appointment, you may have to pay a fee to the practice.
What is your "no-show" policy?
If someone makes appointments and fails to show, their account can be suspended. They may also have to provide a credit card to their practitioner or pay a fee.
What do I do if my practitioner cancels my appointment?
Sometimes the unexpected can occur. If your appointment is cancelled, the dental practice will try to reschedule your appointment to a time convenient for you. If not, you can select another dental practice on www.dentalbookings.com.au
Why do I need to enter an email address and phone number?
Dental Bookings requires this information in order to be able to pass your details on to the practitioner you have selected. They will then call you to verify your details and confirm your booking. They may also want to talk to you, so as to book the right length of time for your appointment.
We do not give your personal information to outside parties but may use your email from time to time to send you newsletters or if we need to contact you. Other information is required for the practitioners to identify you in their own practice database. Often there are people with the same or similar names.
